Compare · Sticky Cards Alternative
A wallet card is a feature. Here’s the whole platform.
Sticky Cards deserves credit: they made no-app wallet loyalty a real category in cannabis, they publish their pricing ($299 and $499 per month, verified on their own site), and their anti-SMS pitch is correct: no carrier filtering, no 10DLC, no per-message fees. We agree with the thesis. We just think a wallet card should be one part of your marketing stack, not the whole thing, and that the card itself can do more.
Notifications-only vs live artwork
Here is the technical difference in one paragraph. Sticky Cards pushes unlimited notifications to the card (text messages and field updates) while the card face itself stays the static branded design you configured at setup. Nothing on their site claims otherwise. Our card face is dynamic: an offer tile composer renders your wording, up to 3–4 product photos, and strike-through pricing into the Google Wallet hero image and the Apple Wallet strip, and pushes that finished image to every installed card, optionally paired with a lock-screen notification. Everyone else’s wallet card is a static badge with a point counter. Ours is a billboard in your customer’s pocket: tonight’s promo art, on every card, pushed live. The full walkthrough is on our wallet cards page.
One nuance for completeness: BLAZE offers tier-based design swaps, where Gold members see a Gold skin and Silver members a Silver skin, and that is the closest anyone else comes. Preset tier skins are not the same thing as pushing live campaign artwork on demand. Alpine IQ’s Wallet Pass makes the same field-refresh promise as Sticky Cards. Its feature page says passes “instantly refresh with loyalty points, favorite brands, products, and categories.” Values change; the artwork does not.
Sticky Cards vs our platform
Sticky Cards pricing is published on their own site and stated as fact. Everything in our column is live product, not roadmap.

How the card actually works day to day
Customers add the card with one QR scan: a hosted join page for new members, an OTP flow for existing ones, with consent records kept. No app download, no 10DLC approval, no per-message fees, no carrier filtering: the framing Sticky Cards popularized, and it holds here too. From your side, a 4-step push wizard with platform-true previews sends a new offer image and text to every installed card; pushes can be scheduled, and install counts and notification logs keep the channel measurable. Geofenced lock-screen messages surface at up to 10 locations you choose, including a placement near a competitor’s shop. Points stay live on the face, and per-budtender signup QRs attribute every new member to the staffer who earned them, verified against POS tickets. The loyalty mechanics are covered in depth on the loyalty page.
Then there is the half Sticky Cards does not sell at all: email. Our engine generates ready-to-send campaigns from your live POS and menu data: expiring-product flash sales, new-product grids, back-in-stock alerts, win-back sends. Each carries a visible “why this email” reason, sent from dedicated IPs with cannabis-disclosed, approved infrastructure. Wallet reaches the customers who installed your card; email reaches everyone. See the email marketing page for the full stack.
Why not a generic wallet-pass tool?
PassKit-class generators and generic wallet platforms can mint an Apple or Google pass for any business, and they are cheap. What they cannot do is talk to a dispensary: no POS integration, no loyalty-points sync, no purchase-based attribution, no cannabis-aware compliance posture, and no email engine attached. A pass generator gives you a barcode in a wallet; a dispensary platform gives you a card that knows the customer’s points, a push channel tied to your live offers, and campaigns measured in POS revenue. Sticky Cards understood this, and it is why they beat the generics in cannabis. We take the same logic one step further by attaching the whole email platform, priced together on our public pricing page.
