Wallet Cards: Flagship

The only dispensary wallet card that changes its artwork

Everyone else's wallet card is a static badge with a point counter. Ours is a billboard in your customer's pocket: tonight's promo art, on every installed Apple and Google Wallet card, pushed live. No app download, no SMS fees, no carrier deciding whether your message deserves delivery.

It's the visible half of a complete stack: the card carries your loyalty program on its face, and the same platform runs your dispensary email marketing: one audience, two channels no carrier can filter.

Live artwork, explained

The offer tile composer renders your wording, up to three or four product photos, and strike-through pricing into a single promo image sized for the Google Wallet hero and the Apple Wallet strip. Push it, and every installed card updates its face: the actual visual of the pass, not just a text field. Add a lock-screen notification if you want the push announced, or let the new art wait to be seen at the register.

That distinction matters because "our pass updates" is what every vendor says. Points counters updating is table stakes. BLAZE's cards can swap between preset tier skins (Gold looks different from Silver), but tier skins are not tonight's campaign. Live promo images pushed to the card face, on your schedule, tied to your live offers: as of our latest competitive review, no one else in cannabis markets that capability.

Everything else the card does

Live loyalty points on the face

Point balances sync to every card automatically, and Apple Wallet refreshes live when the customer opens the pass. The card is always right: no login, no portal, no app.

QR signup in seconds

A store QR leads to a hosted join page that enrolls the customer, or existing members verify with a one-time code by SMS or email. Consent records are kept for every signup.

Store-branded design studio

Colors, logo, wide logo, per-platform overrides for Apple and Google, and a custom domain like card.yourstore.com. The card looks like yours because it is.

Lock-screen messages at chosen spots

Your message surfaces on the lock screen when a cardholder is near locations you choose, up to 10 spots, including a placement near a competitor's shop.

Per-budtender signup QRs

Each budtender gets a tracked signup QR, and POS tickets attribute signups automatically (staff purchases are auto-excluded). Know who actually grows your list.

Scheduled pushes

Queue tonight's drop for 4pm, or line up the weekend promo on Thursday. A 4-step push wizard shows platform-true previews of exactly what Apple and Google cards will display.

Install counts & notification logs

See how many cards are installed per platform, what was pushed and when, and tracked clicks on card links. Real numbers, not vibes.

AI-agent control via MCP

A live MCP server lets your AI agent compose and push card offers conversationally. Every destructive action is dry-run first and requires explicit human confirmation.

The channel carriers can't filter

Cannabis SMS lives under carrier filtering, 10DLC registration, and per-message fees, and even "approved" campaigns play a delivery lottery. Wallet cards sidestep the whole fight:

  • No app download
  • No 10DLC approval process
  • No per-message fees
  • No carrier filtering

How the wallet field compares

Sticky Cards deserves credit for pioneering the no-app wallet pitch in cannabis, and its published pricing is refreshingly transparent. But a wallet card is a feature; here's the whole platform, side by side. Full breakdown on our Sticky Cards alternative page.

Versus the cannabis incumbents' passes

Alpine IQ offers wallet passes to all its customers, and their page makes the same channel argument we do: its headlines are "Your always-on channel" and "The unfiltered marketing channel competitors don't have." We read that page top to bottom in August 2026: it promises real-time updates of loyalty points and favorite brands, products, and categories, plus push notifications. Real capabilities, and not one sentence about changing the card's artwork. The face your customer actually sees stays put: AIQ's pass is a live scoreboard, not a live billboard.

SpringBig doesn't offer native Apple or Google Wallet passes at all. Its communications page describes push notifications as delivered "through the native app," and its "wallet" is a web and in-app experience, which means no lock-screen presence, nothing living in the phone's own wallet app, and an app download standing between you and every enrollment.

POS-bundled passes (Dutchie's "scan to earn, scan to pay," Flowhub's loyalty passes, BLAZE's tier-skin cards) share a different limitation: they're locked to that POS. Switch your point of sale and the program goes with it. Ours is POS-agnostic. If you're on Alpine IQ for loyalty today, the card simply syncs your existing points while you keep your program.

Versus generic wallet-pass tools

PassKit-class platforms and general wallet-pass builders can put a branded pass in Apple Wallet for any business, but for a dispensary that's where they stop. They don't speak to your POS, so points drift stale. They can't attribute a signup to the budtender who earned it, build audiences from purchase history, or connect a card push to a register-verified revenue number. And none of them ship the other half of the stack: the email engine, deliverability infrastructure, and campaign generation this card is bundled with.

A wallet card that isn't wired into your store's data is a pretty barcode. Wired in, it's a marketing channel with a memory. See our pricing for how the bundle compares to buying a wallet tool and an email tool separately.
